Gates upgrades it eCrimp mobile app to simplify hose assemblies

July 21, 2017 By Mary Gannon Leave a Comment

Gates ecrimpGates Corp. has upgraded its eCrimp mobile app with a new and expanded database of the most current crimping specifications on the latest equipment for hydraulic and industrial hose products. The eCrimp app is an extension of the company’s online eCrimp database.

The upgraded mobile app allows users to quickly access the latest crimping specifications with or without an internet connection to produce Gates hose assemblies more safely and with greater accuracy.

According to Tom Pitstick, Chief Marketing Officer for Gates, “Our enhanced eCrimp app provides a quick and simple way for our customers to access the latest crimping information at any time and on practically any mobile device.”

The enhanced eCrimp app is now easier and faster to use due to its refined user interface and updated database. It takes only seconds for a user to select the crimper, hose, size, stem, and the crimping spec. Once the user has accessed the specification, he or she can view it directly on the mobile device, download, or email it for future reference. The Gates eCrimp app relieves users from the task of carrying around a bulky catalog, worrying about referencing outdated information, or forgetting an important hose specification.

The eCrimp app is available at no cost from Google Play or the App Store.
