Automatic hose cutting machine achieves up to 450-1,000 cuts per hour

January 23, 2024 By Mary Gannon Leave a Comment

There is a new addition to the UNIFLEX-Hydraulik GmbH machine family: the EMA 200 automatic hose cutting machine. It comes with numerous sophisticated functions, and its high-precision operation can achieve up to 450 1500-mm long hoses or 1,000 200-mm long hoses per hour.

It can be used for a small series or as part of a production line. The EMA 200 automatic hose cutting machine helps increase  productivity. All you have to do now is set up the machine and you can cut hoses up to DN 25 or 1 in.

The cutting machine pre-bends hose lines and cuts them with an adjustable cutting knife. The result is a perfect, square cut at a high cutting speed. If requirements change, the machine can be converted to a different hose size in just minutes. To ensure safe operation, all relevant areas of the EMA 200 are protected against interference. The modern IPC control enables networking and automated production. For special requirements, the EMA 200 can work with all UNIFLEX cutting knives: smooth TM, slotted TMG and coated TMC. Every smooth cutting knife can be re-sharpened up to the size: Ø 330 mm.

The UATA 200 automatic unwinding table delivers the hose according to the quantity removed. The interactive feed control is visible in setup mode and reacts continuously to the movement – pulling or releasing – of the operator. It doesn’t matter whether the supplied hose bundle turns clockwise or counterclockwise, the EMA 200 can work with both directions of rotation.
