Screw couplings from ZSI-Foster are rated for high-pressure applications

September 28, 2018 By Mary Gannon Leave a Comment

ZSI-Foster has released a new line of screw couplings for high-pressure applications. The Foster FVEP screw connect flat face coupling connects and disconnects with up to 5,075 psi residual pressure are designed for use on mobile hydraulic equipment for use by both OEMs and aftermarket.

ZSI Foster FVEP screw couplings 560x300They are manufactured of zinc nickel-plated carbon steel and are rated for 1,200 hours protection from white and red rust. They feature a large body size of 1/2 to 1-1/2 in.

Their Nitrile seals make them rated for operating temperatures -40° to 223°F. Additionally, an orange seal helps users verify proper connection.

A screw thread connection eliminates brinelling and their socket sleeve can be pushed back for access to the mating face. Finally, their flat face design prevents fluid loss during disconnection.
