Oil-resistant hose with shorter bend radius

July 24, 2015 By Michelle DiFrangia Leave a Comment

Kurt Hydraulics new E-Z Bend Hose has half the bend radius of standard hose for easier routing and more space savings. Providing both greater flexibility and strength, E-Z Bend hose is suited for compact applications requiring hydraulic hose with tight bend radius using minimal installation force.

E-Z-Bend-4SH-HoseIdeal for high-pressure hydraulic oil lines in mobile hydraulic applications, E-Z Bend Hose has four spiral layers of high tensile steel wire braid to handle the most robust and demanding applications. These include construction equipment, agricultural machinery, machine tools, molding presses, and oil and gas applications.

E-Z Bend Hose tube material is oil-resistant synthetic rubber. The working temperature range for E-Z Bend Hose is -40° to 212° F and meets flame resistant MSHA designation.

Available in the following four sizes: 5/8, 3/4, 1 and 1-1/4 in. inside diameter with corresponding 1.07, 1.27,1.52 and 1.79 in. outside diameters. (Note: working hose pressures range from 5,000 to 6000 psi. Minimum burst pressures range from 20,000 to 24,000 psi, with all psi measurements dependent on hose size.)

Kurt W-Style Couplings are suitable for use with E-Bend Hose and handle a wide range of hydraulic applications. Available in 562 different end types, W-Style couplings are designed for non-skive SAE 100 R12 and all wire braided hose applications. They are available in sizes 4-32, non-skive all sizes of R12, non-skive 4SH 12-20 sizes and a full line of metrics. These Kurt W-style couplings feature corrosion resistant ROHS compliant plating and are compatible with most model crimpers.
