The 2018 NFPA Milwaukee Regional Meeting, scheduled for the afternoon of Friday, September 7 at the InterContinental Milwaukee, will extend the technology focus of the co-located morning Fluid Power Industrial Consortium Seminar.
The Regional Meeting presentation, Robotics in Manufacturing & Distribution: Collaboration, Communication & Creating the Future Workforce, will feature two speakers who are preparing students to keep pace with industrial automation and robotics technology while also partnering with companies using these systems. Thomas P. Heraly; Instructional Chair, Electronics Department, School of Technology and Applied Sciences – Milwaukee Area Technical College, and Mike Shiels, Dean, School of Applied Technologies—Waukesha County Technical College will share their work and experiences in this rapidly changing field.
