NAHAD will host another Hose Safety Institute (HSI) Hands-On Training, October 20-21, 2025, in Denver. The comprehensive program is designed to deepen attendee’s expertise in hose safety, system design, and strategic sales practices. Led by experienced industry professionals, this training will provide insights into STAMPED hose selection, interpreting Safety Data Sheets, and developing effective customer engagement strategies. Attendees will participate in hands on sessions, visit area facilities, and engage with peers to strengthen their business and stay current with the latest industry advancements.

The following individuals will present at the two-day event.
Scott Bauman is the Product Manager for Rubber Hydraulics Hose and Fittings and the Product Application Engineering Manager at Danfoss Power Solutions. With a background in mechanical engineering and business administration, Bauman has spent his entire career in fluid conveyance, holding roles in engineering, program management, and product management. In this session, he will lead a discussion on STAMPED hydraulic hose and fittings, covering hose types, fitting end styles, common applications, and an overview of hose manufacturing.
Brent Lilly is Vice President of Sales and Marketing at PT Coupling and a 43-year veteran of the fluid power and industrial marketplace, having held leadership roles at companies like Gates, Parker Hannifin, and Thermoid. He currently chairs the NAHAD Education Committee and has served on the NAHAD Board of Directors, contributing extensively as a trainer, presenter, and industry author. In this session, Lilly will co-lead a discussion on Account Penetration and Success Documentation, focusing on identifying key roles within end user accounts and developing tailored strategies to engage each. The session will also explore how to document value-driven solutions and build strong, consultative partnerships.
Rob Williams brings more than 30 years of industrial sales experience, including 22 years with Alliance Hose & Rubber Powered by TIPCO, where he specializes in hose solutions for the food, beverage, chemical, and agricultural industries. He is a long-standing advocate for hose system safety, sharing his expertise through webinars, trainings, and industry events, and actively contributes to NAHAD and various safety committees. In his first session, Williams will explore how to interpret and apply Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) to support safe hose system practices. He will also co-lead a session on Account Penetration and Success Documentation, focusing on identifying key decision-making roles within end user accounts and developing consultative strategies that lead to meaningful and lasting partnerships.
David Miller is the Strategic National Accounts Manager for Gates Corp., bringing more than 35 years of experience in the fluid power industry, with a background spanning both distribution and manufacturing. His perspective comes from working across key sectors such as transportation, marine, oil and gas, and manufacturing in roles ranging from sales to engineering. A Gates Certified Hydraulics Trainer and Certified Industrial Hose Safety Trainer, Miller will lead this session on STAMPED Industrial Hose and Fittings. The discussion will focus on applying the STAMPED method to industrial hose selection, covering hose types, applications, fittings, and safety considerations.
