In our next installment of the Fluid Power Technology Conference Virtual Series, Stauff will return to the “stage” to offer tips on using tube end forming for leak-free hydraulic connections. Stauff’s Gregory Byrne will present, “Creating Leak Free Hydraulic Connections using Metric Tube Fittings and Tube Forming Technology,” on April 13 at 2 p.m. EST.
While Metric Tube fittings have long been a standard in Europe and other parts of the world the popularity of these fittings in the U.S. has been limited. With the increasing importance of leak-free connections and global standards for machinery and equipment many OEM manufacturers are now standardizing on Metric fittings due to the worldwide availability and acceptance.
All metric fittings conform to DIN 2353 and ISO 8434 but there are different sealing versions available for different applications. During this webinar we will look at the features and benefits of different versions including formed tube end fittings with soft sealing for the ultimate leak-free connection
Gregory Byrne is an Application Engineer with Stauff. He has more than 30 years of experience in the design and marketing of fluid connectors in both the hydraulic and instrumentation fields.
