Hybrid NITRA PVC hose is designed use with air and water

November 20, 2018 By Mary Gannon Leave a Comment

A new hybrid PVC/rubber hose introduced by AutomationDirect is suitable for air and water use. The NITRA Hybrid PVC hose is a blend of PVC and rubber with a polyester braided reinforcement. The PVC gives light weight, color stability and hardness for higher working pressures while the rubber gives improved flexibility and operating temperature range.

Automation Direct Nitra PVC hose for air and waterThe black with green stripe color hose works with air or water (non-potable) and is strong, flexible, kink-resistant and has a Shore A 62 hardness rating.

The hybrid PVC hose is available in 1/4 and 3/8 in. hose inside diameters and is sold with or without 1/4 in. male NPT nickel-plated brass rigid fittings (additional fittings may be purchased separately). The hose is available in 25 and 50-ft hose lengths with fittings, and in 100, 250 and 500-ft bulk hose lengths without fittings.

Hybrid PVC hose prices start at $16.00 (25 ft. length with fittings). Replaceable nickel-plated brass fittings start at $4.75. The hose products and fittings are CE rated and backed by a 1-year warranty.
