Hydraulic hose fittings from Tieffe, Cura Carpignano, Italy come in a number of series of one-piece (precrimped) and two-piece no-skive fittings. And they are available in a wide range of sizes for hose IDs from 3⁄16 to 2 in. (5 to 51 mm).
Tieffe fittings are designed to handle rubber hoses with steel-wire braided reinforcement (such as SAE 100R1, R2, R16, R17 and R19); steel-wire spiral reinforcement (R12, R13 and R15); and versions with textile-braided reinforcement (such as SAE 100R3 and R6). They also have fittings for connecting with thermoplastic hoses (R7, R8 and R18). In addition, they offer many complementary ISO versions.
End connections include American standard NPTF 60° cone and swivels, JIC 37° connections in straights, 45° and 90° elbows, O-ring face seal (SAE J516), SAE O-ring boss, and Code 61 and 62 flanges. OEM “Supercat” flanges in straights, 45° and 90° elbows are also available. Other options are British, French, and Japanese standard connections, and a wide variety of DIN-standard connections.
