Cut-off hose saw for textile or wire-braided hydraulic hose

March 30, 2022 By Mary Gannon Leave a Comment

The advanced RYCO RYCS10 cut-off saw has been designed for the safe, clean, and efficient cutting of textile or wire braided, suction, and multi-spiralled hydraulic hoses for use in workshops and mobile service van environments.

The RYCS10 cut-off saw has been designed to cut hydraulic hoses up to a maximum outside diameter of 55 mm (2.1/8 in.), including multi-spiral hoses up to 1.1/4 in. (-20, DN 31) and other braid hoses up to 1.1/2 in. (-24, DN 38) nominal inside diameter.

With its ergonomic design and compact base of only 60 cm wide, the RYCS10 cut-off saw can be easily mounted to any workshop bench or mobile service vehicle with minimal footprint without compromising safety or functionality.

The robust design, all-metal body, and high-quality componentry of the RYCO RYCS10 cut-off saw ensure that it will continue to operate in the harshest of environments.

The ergonomic thumb-operated power switch located on the operating lever allows for the safe and controlled cutting of hydraulic hoses.

Should the RYCS10 cut-off saw need to be stopped in the event of an emergency the operator can press the clearly labelled, easy to reach Emergency Stop Button. It is fitted with a spring-loaded safety blade guard that retracts as the hose advances during the cutting cycle.

Debris generated from cutting hoses is collected in a waste collection tray that can be easily removed and cleaned, which results in less contamination in workshops or mobile service vehicles. Attach a suitable fume extraction unit to the large 76-mm (3 in.) size fume extraction port at the rear of the saw to control fumes and smoke generated by hose cutting.

Hose support pins help pre-bend the hose during the cutting cycle to prevent any rubbing or jamming against the saw blade while ensuring the finished cut is perpendicular and straight.
