The Series 300 Vented Safety from CEJN, is a universal pneumatic coupling suitable for a variety of applications. It offers high flow and only requires a low connection force, which ensures a safe working environment. Male threads on the couplings and nipples feature pre-applied thread sealant. The Vented Safety version disconnects in two stages in order to vent, minimize the risk of sudden component separation, reduce noise, and prevent recoil accidents. Full automatic operation ensures easy handling. CEJN Vented Safety couplings are compliant with several international safety standards including: ISO Standard 4414 and EN 983. Series 300 Vented Safety is also available in Standard, Soft-Line and Multi-Link versions.
The coupling possesses a max working pressure of 174 psi (12 bar) and a minimum bursting pressure of 696 psi (48 bar). It can operate in temperatures ranging from -4°F — +176°F (-20°C — +80°C). Other features include: a nominal flow diameter of 7/32 in. (5.5 mm), an airflow at 100 psi of 34.9 CFM (975 l/min) and a connection force of 59.8 N. The coupling itself is made up of zinc-plated steel/brass with a nipple made of hardened zinc-plated steel. The coupling is interchangeable with the Rectus 14/22, Prevost AS106, Hansen 210 and the Orion 44150/44515.
