Motion Industries announces agreement to acquire Moss Rubber And Equipment

Motion Industries, a wholly owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company, has entered into a definitive agreement whereby Motion Industries has agreed to acquire Moss Rubber and Equipment. Execution of the transaction is expected to take place immediately.

Moss Rubber and Equipment has been a leading supplier of quality industrial rubber products since 1965. Moss specializes in hose and rubber products for the petroleum, construction, mining, manufacturing, traMossnsportation and agricultural industries throughout northern California. Moss services customers from two locations, South San Francisco and Benicia, California.

“We are very excited to become part of Motion Industries and to be able to leverage the added strength that the company provides,” said Greg Moss, president of Moss Rubber. “It will be a good fit with our customer relationships, which for both companies are built on a platform of trust, performance, and satisfaction.”
