Kurt Hydraulics will exhibit a full line of American made couplings available in hundreds of end style and configurations to meet today’s fluid power equipment demands and meeting or exceeding SAE DIN requirements. Included in the Kurt full line is a range of braided hose, spiral hose, Teflon hose, Thermoplastic hose and Hose guard products.
Kurt will be demonstrating the new popular, Kurt exclusive “2 hose styles plus 1 couplings style” which handles the most common hydraulic application pressure ranges from 3,000 to 6,500 psi. This product offering includes Kurt Tuff hose, Kurt E-Z Bend Hose and Kurt W-Style couplings. OEM’s and distributors have expressed the importance of streamlined inventory of hydraulic components for lean manufacturing. Kurt’s solution requires less-inventory to be maintained when compared to any other industry hose and coupling offering.
Kurt Tuff Hose handles 3,000 to 6,500 psi pressures
Reinforced internally with four spiral layers of high tensile steel wire braid, Kurt Tuff Spiral Flex hose has a very durable oil, ozone and abrasion resistant synthetic outer cover. It has ten times the abrasion resistance compared to standard hose cover, reports Kurt Hydraulics. Impulse tested for up to 1,000,000 cycles, Kurt Tuff Spiral Flex hose withstands temperatures from -40° F up to 250° F and meets flame resistant MSHA designation. It meets or exceeds requirements of SAE DIN 20023.
Kurt E-Z Bend Hose is more flexible to save space
For tight applications and down-sized equipment, E-Z Bend Hose has half the bend radius of standard hose for easier routing and more space savings. Providing both greater flexibility and strength, E-Z Bend hose is ideal for today’s mobile hydraulic, compact applications requiring hydraulic hose with tight bend radius using minimal installation force. With a working hose pressure range from 5,000 psi to 6,000 psi, E-Z Bend has a working temperature range of -40° F to +212° F and meets flame resistant MSHA designation.
