Australian swage press manufacturer, BetaSwage, is launching the first of its 2015/16 product range with improved crimping capabilities for hydraulic hose fittings. The range of products includes the nominal 2 in. BS350/400C and the nominal 14 in. BS1400/400C.
BetaSwage Managing Director, Fred Van Essen, said the new range of products was designed to improve efficiency and quality, and reduce machinery maintenance costs. “We have developed the first machine capable of actually measuring the final Crimp Dimension before releasing the product, and detecting if a hose has been inserted incorrectly into the coupling. Our new machines are able to crimp 2 ½ and 3 in. MultiSpiral hydraulic hoses, and have a small enough footprint to be located on site. With advancements in technology, the BS350/400C delivers Android Wi-Fi connectivity, making it extremely operator friendly.”
The range features new innovations including the patented Pinch De-compressor and Super Charging technology for swage presses, offering greater speeds and longer maintenance-free periods due to the unique Indexing Shoe Cluster design, which keeps surfaces lubricated with a rotating shoe system.
